STANFORD, Calif. -- Senior James Wright was named to the Pac-12 Men's Rowing All-Conference team Friday. Wright earned his second career end-of-year honor from the conference, as the Philadelphia, Pa. native was named the Pac-12 Newcomer of the Year in 2019.
Wright has rowed in both the five and stroke seats of the Cardinal's varsity eight boat this year. He helped Stanford earn two wins over Oregon State and a victory over Wisconsin at the Pac-12 Invite.
After earning a fourth-place finish at the Pac-12 Championships, the Cardinal will finish its season June 3-5 at the IRA Championships in West Windsor, N.J.
