NCAA Singles and Doubles Tournaments Underway

STANFORD, Calif. -
 The 2022 NCAA singles and doubles tournaments get started this week, as Arthur Fery and Alexandre Rotsaert will compete for Stanford men's tennis starting on Monday in Champaign, Illinois. Fery opens the singles draw on Monday, May 23, while the duo of Fery and Rotsaert begin doubles action on Tuesday, May 24.

Fery will face Old Dominion's Francois Le Tallec, ranked No. 54 nationally, in the round of 64 on Monday at 12:30 p.m. PT, while the pair of Fery and Rotsaer square off with Texas A&M's tandem of Schachter and Taylor in the doubles round of 32 on Tuesday (time TBD).

Fery, an All-Pac-12 first team selection, is 21-7 in singles this season with an 11-5 dual mark, with all 16 decisions coming in the top singles position. He enters as a 9-16 seed, ranked 15th in the ITA national poll, and was Stanford's first No. 1 ranked singles player in over a decade back in February.

The pair of Fery and Rotsaert, the latter of which also earned All-Pac-12 status, is 22-6 together this season, including a 7-3 dual mark. The team reached the championship match in the fall at the ITA National Championship. They enter the event ranked No. 25 by the ITA, and drew the No. 14 pair in the first round.

Stanford boasts 14 singles champions and 14 doubles champions in program history.
