STANFORD, Calif. – Led by three-time honoree Justin Lui, 10 members of the Stanford men's volleyball team earned Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic accolades, the league announced on Monday.
Joining Lui (management science and engineering) as repeat honorees are juniors Adam Chang (management science and engineering), Nathaniel Gates (economics), Kevin Lamp (architecture), Nathan Lietzke (biology) and Will Rottman (real estate development in engineering). Earning their first career academic recognition are redshirt sophomore Ethan Hill (management science and engineering) and sophomores Chris Kelly, Aidan Peters and Luke Turner.
The group was recognized for their combined work athletically and in the classroom. Stanford led the conference in selections, followed by Grand Canyon (8) and Pepperdine (6).
To be eligible, students must have a 3.00 or better cumulative grade point average, be at least a sophomore academically and have spent at least one academic year at their institution.
