STANFORD, Calif. – Senior Alex Williams and sophomore Carter Graham were named All-Americans according to Collegiate Baseball, it was announced on Thursday. Williams landed on the first team, while Graham was selected to the third team.

Williams, the 2022 Pac-12 Pitcher of the Year, is 8-1 with a Pac-12-best 1.98 ERA over 15 starts this season. The Cardinal ace ranks second in the Pac-12 in WHIP (0.97) and victories while logging 91 innings and striking out 84 compared to 21 walks.

Shining in Pac-12 play, the native of Castro Valley, Calif. went 5-0, sporting a 1.36 ERA over 10 starts and 66 1/3 innings. A semifinalist for the 2022 College Baseball Hall of Fame National Pitcher of the Year Award, Williams went 6-0 with a 0.45 ERA (3 ER in 59 2/3 innings) over his final eight starts in the regular season.

Graham, an All-Pac-12 first team selection, leads the Pac-12 in home runs with 20 and paces Stanford in RBIs (70). Not only showing power, Graham has batted .342 to rank second for the Cardinal while hitting safely in all but nine games this year – including 43 of his last 50 overall. The native of Los Angeles has compiled 56 runs scored, 11 doubles and a triple to accompany the 20 homers.

One of the most productive players for the Cardinal this season, Graham has collected an RBI in 36 of 55 games and owns 22 multi-hit games and a team-best 20 multi-RBI contests. Terrorizing Pac-12 pitching, Graham hit .365 with 34 runs scored, seven doubles, 11 homers and 42 RBIs in Pac-12 play.

Stanford is currently preparing to host Texas State, UC Santa Barbara and Binghamton in the Stanford Regional this weekend from Sunken Diamond. The second overall seed in the NCAA tournament, Stanford will open its postseason run vs. Binghamton on Friday at 1 p.m.
