Doms Tabbed All-America

United Soccer Coaches All-America Opens in a new window

STANFORD, Calif. – Senior Maya Doms has been named a United Soccer Coaches All-America second team selection, it was announced by the organization on Friday.

Doms is one of 46 players to earn All-America honors, including one of 11 to record multiple All-America nods after earning a spot on the third team following her junior campaign in 2021.

The native of Davis, Calif. earned All-Pac-12 first team honors this year while appearing in 18 matches and starting 15. Doms, listed on the MAC Hermann Trophy watch list prior to this year, scored four goals and added five assists to total 13 points.

The All-America honor comes on the heels of being named to the All-Region first team alongside Jasmine Aikey, Elise Evans and Kennedy Wesley. Stanford was the only program in the nation to have four players listed on an All-Region first team, and with Ryan Campbell's third-team selection, the Cardinal boasted a national-best five All-Region picks this year.

This year's All-Americans will be recognized for their accomplishments at the United Soccer Coaches All-America Ceremony & Reception on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia in conjunction with the United Soccer Coaches Convention.
