STANFORD, Calif. - Three Stanford women's golfers were named All-Americans by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) on Thursday. Rose Zhang garnered first-team honors, while Aline Krauter and Brooke Seay received second-team recognition. Margot and Mitch Milias Director of Women's Golf Anne Walker has now produced 25 All-Americans, including at least one first-team All-American in each of her 10 seasons and multiple All-Americans in nine straight seasons. 

Zhang, a freshman from Irvine, Calif., became Stanford's second-ever individual NCAA champion on Monday, turned 19, was named the ANNIKA Award winner and WGCA Player and Freshman of the Year on Tuesday, and drilled the clinching putt to give the Cardinal the NCAA Championship on Wednesday. She set the NCAA single-season scoring average record at 69.68 this season in 31 rounds, winning four times with four more runner-up finishes in 10 total events. 

Krauter, a senior from Stuttgart, Germany, capped her Cardinal career with the second-best senior scoring average (72.29) in program history. In 10 events this season, she posted five Top-5 finishes, nine Top-16 finishes and went 3-0 in match play to lead Stanford to the title. Krauter was named the WGCA's Dinah Shore Award Trophy winner on Tuesday.

Seay, a junior from San Diego, Calif. set Stanford's new single-season scoring average record by a junior at 71.64. In seven events, Seay posted five Top-5 finishes. She went 3-0 in match play to lead Stanford to the championship and was named the NCAA's Elite 90 Award winner on Sunday with a 4.0 GPA in human biology.
