Jones Tabbed Gold Glover

ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove Opens in a new window

STANFORD, Calif. - Junior Brock Jones has been tabbed an ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove recipient as an outfielder, it was announced on Wednesday.

Jones is joined by Ryan Cermak (Illinois State) and Levi Usher (Louisville) as the outfielders on the list. 2022 Pac-12 Defender of the Year Adam Crampton had been named a finalist for the Gold Glove at shortstop, but that was ultimately awarded to Kentucky's Ryan Ritter.

Jones patrolled center field for the Cardinal throughout the 2022 season, posting a .990 fielding percentage with three outfield assists. Offensively, Jones batted .324 with 78 runs scored, 13 doubles, five triples, 21 homers and 57 RBIs to help guide Stanford to a second consecutive College World Series berth.

In addition to the Gold Glove, Jones earned third-team All-America honors according to the ABCA and was named to CoSIDA's Academic All-America second team.
