STANFORD, Calif. – The Troy Taylor Era of Stanford Football begins in 226 days when Stanford starts its 2023 season at Hawai'I on Friday, Sept. 1. The Pac-12 Conference announced the 2023 conference schedule on Wednesday to complete Stanford's 12-game regular season slate.

"The 2023 schedule is an exciting challenge for our program and a tremendous opportunity for our fans to see seven home games inside Stanford Stadium!" Taylor said. "As a program we will be unique, bold and innovative and we can't wait to showcase that during this upcoming season. Our student-athletes are already working hard in preparation, and we can't wait to take the field Sept. 1 at Hawai'i."

The Cardinal will host seven Saturday games inside Stanford Stadium for the first time since 2015, highlighted by back-to-back rivalry matchups against California (126th Big Game) and Notre Dame to end the regular season. Stanford's Oct. 21 home game vs. UCLA will serve as this season's Reunion Homecoming game.

Stanford's seven-game home slate begins with an in-state showdown against Sacramento State on Sept. 16. The matchup against the Hornets pits Taylor's new program against his old program.

After the Sacramento State game, the Cardinal hosts Arizona (Sept. 23) and Oregon (Sept. 30) to round out a three-game homestand before a bye week. Stanford's other home game is against Washington (Oct. 28), meaning Stanford fans have a chance to see the Cardinal in action inside Stanford Stadium five times in a seven-week stretch and seven times over the final 10 games of the season.

The season begins with a Friday night matchup at the University of Hawai'i on Sept. 1. The first of a four-game series with the Rainbow Warriors, the Cardinal is also scheduled to travel to UH in 2025 before hosting Hawai'I in 2026 and 2030.

Stanford plays another Friday night road game on Oct. 13 at Colorado, matching two first-year coaches in a Prime Time Showdown.

Stanford begins conference play at USC in week two before coming home to begin the three-game homestand.

The Cardinal wraps up its road schedule with two November games in the Pacific Northwest, traveling first to the Palouse (Nov. 4) before a fourth trip to Corvallis in five seasons for a game at Oregon State (Nov. 11) on Veterans Day.

The Pac-12 Football Championship Game will once again be played at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Friday, Dec. 1.
