McDonald’s All-American

HOUSTON – Stanford signee Andrej Stojakovic from the class of 2023 has been selected to the McDonald's All-American game as one of 24 high school All-Americans, as announced on ESPN on Tuesday.

Stojakovic became the 10th recruit in program history to earn a spot on the event's roster. The Cardinal will have a participant for the third time in four years - the first time in program history to accomplish the feat over a four-year stretch. Stojakovic joins Harrison Ingram (2021), Ziaire Williams (2020), Reid Travis (2014), Brook and Robin Lopez (2006), Josh Childress (2001), Casey Jacobsen (1999) and Jarron and Jason Collins (1997) as Stanford athletes with the honor.

The Sacramento-area native has been steadily rising through the recruiting rankings, currently slotting in at No. 16 from 247Sports, No. 23 from ESPN, No. 24 from On3 and No. 30 from Rivals. He is a five star recruit on the 247 composite rankings, and is a top-three ranked player from the state of California and a top-four ranked small forward in the country.

Stojakovic signed his national letter of intent with Stanford in November.
