Cardinal Stings Hornets

STANFORD, Calif. – No. 17 Stanford men's tennis defeated Sacramento State, 4-0, on Saturday at Taube Tennis Center. The Cardinal is now 6-2 on the season, including a 5-0 mark at home.
 
Stanford made quick work of Sacramento State in doubles, taking the point with a 6-2 win on court one and a 6-1 victory on court three.
 
In singles, freshman Nishesh Basavareddy, ranked No. 2 in the country, made quick work on court three with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Adam Chodur.
 
On court five, senior Filip Kolasinski defeated Jiri Novak, 6-3, 6-4, and Neel Rajesh clinched on court six with a 6-2, 7-5 win over Rudolfs Aksenoks.
 
The Cardinal is back in action next weekend at ITA National Team Indoors in Chicago, Ill.
