- The spring tennis slate continues on Saturday, Feb. 4 for the first of two matches at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida. The Cardinal opens the weekend with No. 13 Georgia and closes against No. 15 Florida on Sunday.
- The Cardinal is 4-1 to start the spring, including two wins at the ITA Kickoff Weekend over Georgia Tech and Texas A&M Jan. 29-30.
- Nishesh Basavareddy is 17-2 on the season after winning the ITA Fall National Championship, the ITA Northwest Super Regional and the consolation bracket at the ITA All-American Championships. Basavareddy's fall included a 9-1 record against nationally ranked opponents and a 3-0 mark against Pac-12 foes. He starts the spring as the ITA's No. 2 singles player.
- Max Basing also had a strong fall, and begins the spring season as the nation's No. 7 singles player. Basing is 10-2 on the season, after an 18-2 dual record as a freshman, with five victories coming over ranked opponents and a 5-0 mark in dual action. The sophomore beat four straight ranked opponents at the ITA All-American Championships to advance to the tournament's semifinal round.
- Arthur Fery returns for his junior campaign after taking the fall off from collegiate tennis to play in professional tournaments. An All-American last season, Fery was ranked as high as No. 1 in the country in singles and No. 6 in doubles, going 24-8 in singles and 26-10 in doubles overall. Fery is currently a top-500 singles player in the world, and picked up M25 professional wins this fall in singles in Sheffield, Nottingham and Malibu and in doubles in Sunderland. Fery has three wins at No. 1 singles this year.
- The Cardinal had nine players in action this Fall, with six players recording multiple singles wins and three doubles pairs winning at least one matchup.
- The Cardinal holds a 5-3 all-time mark against Florida and a 15-6 record against Georgia.
- Stanford went 19-6 last season, including a perfect 10-0 record at Taube Family Tennis Center. Stanford earned a bid to its 14th consecutive NCAA Tournament, traveling to 14th seeded Harvard for a pair of victories to advance to the Super Regional.
- Paul Goldstein is in his ninth season as the Taube Family Director of Men's Tennis. Goldstein’s teams have posted a 131-55 record with a national ranking and a berth in the NCAA Championships in each of his seasons at the helm.
