FEDERAL WAY, Wash. - Jack Ryan took second overall on the 1-meter while Peyton Donald added a fourth-place finish to start the Pac-12 Diving Championships on Wednesday afternoon.
Ryan, who won four Pac-12 Diver of the Week awards this season, scored a 340.15 in finals to take silver, behind only Laurent Gosselin-Paradis from USC with a 354.80. It marks Ryan's third career podium finish at the Pac-12 Championships after also taking second on the 1-meter and third on the 3-meter in 2022.
Donald narrowly missed out on a podium finish, recording a 337.95, less than three points out of third place.
The top eight divers in prelims advanced to finals and Donald was Stanford's top performer, scoring a 300.55 and taking fifth place. Jack Ryan took sixth in the first round with a 292.10.
Hunter Hollenbeck was 11th after the first round with a 275.40 while Ethan Foster recorded a 251.50 for 15th.
Stanford returns to action on the 3-meter tomorrow for the second day of the Pac-12 Diving Championships.
