Fifth-Place Finish

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. - Jack Ryan closed out the second day of the Pac-12 Diving Championships with his second consecutive top-five finish, taking fifth place in the 3-meter competition. It marks Ryan's fourth top-five finish at the Pac-12 Championships in his two trips to the conference meet.

The sophomore diver claimed the top result after the preliminary competition with a 411.75, nearly 30 points ahead of the second-place diver. Ryan continued his strong diving into the finals round, scoring a 398.05.

Hunter Hollenbeck was Stanford's next highest finisher, taking 11th place in the event at 288.05 while Peyton Donald took 12th overall at 282.80. Ethan Foster added an 18th place finish for the Cardinal, coming in at 214.30.

Stanford closes out the Pac-12 Diving Championships tomorrow on the platform, with Ethan Foster, Hunter Hollenbeck, and Jack Ryan each entered in the event. Prelims will begin at 12:55 p.m. with finals set to start at 4:15 p.m.
