BOULDER, Colo. – Stanford men's basketball had its five-game winning streak snapped on Sunday evening at Colorado, 84-62.
Brandon Angel led four Stanford players in double figures, ending the night with 14 points, while Spencer Jones scored 13 and Maxime Raynaud and Michael Jones added 10 each. Harrison Ingram finished with seven points, five rebounds and four assists.
Stanford and Colorado were tied at the half, 39-39, after shooting 57.7 percent in the opening frame, and 65 percent from inside the arc. Michael Jones scored all 10 of his points in the first half, while Michael O'Connell beat the halftime buzzer to level the score heading into the locker room.
Shots went cold for Stanford to start the second half, with Colorado using a run to go up by 16 points. Angel had eight points in the second half, but the Cardinal ran out of time to launch its comeback effort.
The Cardinal returns home to Maples Pavilion on Thursday, Feb. 9 against Arizona State. The action will air on FS1.
