  • No. 7 Stanford travels to Southern California for the second consecutive weekend to compete in the Battle For Los Angeles, meeting No. 2 USC, No. 8 LMU, No. 13 Florida Atlantic, and RV Cal Poly March 11-12.

  • Freshman pair Kelly Belardi and Ashley Vincent have continued to be a steady force in Stanford’s lineups, going 12-0 (9-0 on court four, 3-0 on court three) in so many matches this season.  The duo secured five top-10 wins in its first 12 matches, including two victories over No. 1 UCLA's No. 4 pair and a victory over then No. 4 USC's fours pair. 
  • Last weekend, the Cardinal went 3-1 with wins over No. 16 Washington, RV Arizona State and Utah, and a loss to No. 4 USC, at the Pac-12 South Beach Invitational, hosted by UCLA and USC. 
  • Six Cardinal and a pair are just a few victories away from individual/pair milestones, including:
    • Charlie Ekstrom- two wins away from tying program record for individual career wins, three away from setting a new program-best win total
    • Maya Harvey- one win away from 50 individual career wins 
    • Xolani Hodel- two wins away from 50 individual career wins 
    • Maddi Kriz- three wins away from 60 individual career wins
    • Kate Reilly- one win away from 50 individual career wins
    • Emmy Sharp- four wins away from 50 individual career wins
    • Kelly Belardi/Ashley Vincent- three wins away from top-10 career wins as a pair, one win away from tying program record for most consecutive wins (13)
  • Stanford comes off a historic 2022 season, earning a bid to the NCAA Championships for just the second time in program history. The Cardinal saw multiple records broken in its last campaign, including:
    • Against Grand Canyon, April 24, 2022: No. 1 pair Xolani Hodel and Kate Reilly earned their 29th win as a pair and became the winningest pair in program history (as of May 2, 2022, the pair currently owns 30 wins). 
    • Against Saint Mary’s, April 24, 2022: Sophomore Kate Reilly earned her 24th individual win of the 2022 season, a new program best for wins in a single season. 
    • Against Arizona State, April 27, 2022: 
      • Stanford earns its 24th program win, the most in a single season.
      • Sophomore Maya Harvey earns her 24th win of the 2022 season, matching Reilly’s program record for single-season individual wins set on April 24, 2022. 
  • Next up, the Cardinal takes the short trip to Berkeley, Calif. to take on the Golden Bears on their home courts Saturday, March 18. Action on the sand is set to start at 1 p.m.
