STANFORD, Calif. – Fifth-year Charlie Ekstrom set a new program record for individual career wins while senior Maddi Kriz and juniors Emmy Sharp and Xolani Hodel each celebrated milestone victories Monday afternoon as the Cardinal earned two sweep wins over San Francisco and San Jose State at the Beach Volleyball Stadium.
Ekstrom now sits alone at the top of Stanford's all-time wins leaderboard with 69 career victories. Monday also saw Kriz earn her 60th collegiate win and Sharp and Hodel both record their 50th career wins.
Stanford did not drop a set en route to 5-0 victories over the Dons and Spartans.
The Cardinal next travels to Long Beach, Calif. to compete against Long Beach State, Vanguard and Florida International at Rosie's Dog Beach March 30-31.
