FEDERAL WAY, Wash. - Ethan Foster took first overall on the platform on Wednesday in the Diving Zone E Championships, Stanford's third title of the competition. By winning the event, Foster automatically qualifies to compete on the platform at the NCAA Championships later this month.

The junior was dominant throughout the day, finishing in first place after the preliminary round as well with 371.50 points. Foster wrapped up the day with 700.90 points as the only diver to reach 700 points, and leading the next diver by nearly 40 points.

It's Foster's best-ever finish on the platform at the Zone E Championships, topping his fifth-place result with a 671.75 score in 2020.

Stanford men's swimming and diving is back in action at the NCAA Championships later this month in Minneapolis, March 22-25.
