KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Stanford cornerback Kyu Blu Kelly was drafted on Saturday by the Baltimore Ravens in the fifth round with the 157th overall pick of the 2023 NFL Draft.
Kelly is the first Stanford player ever selected by the Baltimore Ravens through the NFL Draft.
A native of Las Vegas, Nev., Kelly played in 38 games during his career, totaling 148 tackles, three interceptions and 26 passes defended on The Farm.
Kelly earned All-Pac-12 honors each of the last two seasons.
In 2022, he started 10 games with 35 tackles, one fumble recovery and six pass breakups. In 2021 he made 11 starts with 58 tackles and led the Pac-12 with 12 passes defended (two interceptions, 10 breakups). He had an interception in each of the first two games of the season, including a pick-six at USC, his father, Brian's alma mater.
