STANFORD, Calif. – The Cardinal's third signee and fourth prospect in the class of 2023, Aidan Cammann (Andover, Mass.) has signed a national letter of intent to join the Stanford men's basketball program.
"Adding a student-athlete of Aidan's caliber is a home run," said Jerod Haase, the Anne and Tony Joseph Director of Men's Basketball. "On the court, Aidan is a super skilled forward. He has a tremendous feel for the game on both sides of the floor, and he will only continue to improve throughout his college career. Off the court, Aidan is equally as impressive and will thrive in this environment."
Standing at 6-10 with the ability to play on the interior and on the perimeter, Cammann spent a prep year at Brewster Academy in New Hampshire after a successful four-year career at Andover High School in Massachusetts. Cammann averaged 18 points and 12 rebounds per game as a senior at Andover, and he helped lead Brewster to a 35-6 record and a No. 6 national ranking, with the team finishing as the NEPSAC Class AAA runner-up. Cammann was an All-Lakes Region All-Star at Brewster.
He is a three-star prospect rated as the No. 44 center prospect in the country, per 247Sports, and is one of nine Division I signings from Brewster Academy this season, with teammates signing with Tennessee, Xavier, Notre Dame, Wake Forest, UConn, Florida State, Central Florida, and UMass. Cammann chose Stanford over Davidson and Vanderbilt.
He joins top-50 recruits Andrej Stojakovic and Kanaan Carlyle in the incoming class, as well as priority walk on Cameron Grant.
