STANFORD, Calif. – The Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) Board of Stewards announced 16 Stanford men's rowers have been named to the IRA All-Academic squad, excelling both on the water and in the classroom.
In order to qualify for the honor, athletes needed to maintain a 3.35 GPA or higher, be of at least sophomore standing academically, be an institutional letterwinner, and have competed at the 2023 IRA Championships.
Stanford men's rowing finished 13th at the 2023 IRA Championships, led by an eighth-place finish for the Cardinal's varsity eight boat and a 13th-place effort for Stanford in the second varsity eight race.
