STANFORD, Calif. – With a new season on the horizon, Stanford women's swimming and diving announced its 2023-24 schedule on Friday afternoon. The Cardinal will compete in 17 events, hosting six meets at Avery Aquatic Center.
The Cardinal opens the season with four consecutive home contests, kicking things off on Friday, Oct. 13 against Pittsburgh before hosting its annual Alumni Meet the following weekend on Oct. 20.
Stanford welcomes Arkansas on Oct. 27, and will close out the homestand with its first conference meet of the season against Washington State on Oct. 28.
The team will close out the fall portion of the schedule with three road meets, as the Cardinal will travel to the Texas Swim Invite from Nov. 15-18, USA Diving Winter Nationals in Knoxville, Tennessee, from Nov. 26-Dec. 8, and the U.S. Open from Nov. 28-Dec. 2.
Following the holiday break, Stanford returns to action for the UCLA Bruin Diving Invite on Jan. 11-14, before hosting a weekend doubleheader against Arizona and Arizona State on Jan. 19-20.
The regular season ends with a three-event road stretch, as the Cardinal travels to UCLA on Friday, Feb. 2, USC on Feb. 3, and finishes the year in Berkeley, Calif. against Cal on Saturday, Feb. 17.
Stanford will chase its seventh Pac-12 title in eight seasons on Feb. 28-March 2, traveling to Federal Way, Wash., for the Pac-12 Championships. The Pac-12 Invite will follow on Sunday, March 3.
The Cardinal will travel to Flagstaff, Ariz., for the NCAA Zone "E" Diving meet on Mar. 11-13, before competing for its 13th national title in program history at the NCAA Championships from March 20-23 in Athens. Ga.
Stanford produced a third-place NCAA finish in 2023 for the second straight season, representing its 10th top-three finish at the NCAA Championships since 2008, a stretch that includes three consecutive national championships from 2017-19. Stanford also repeated as Pac-12 champions, claiming the hardware for the sixth time in seven seasons.
