STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford women's tennis has unveiled a talented incoming duo in Katherine Hui and Eleana Yu, as announced by The Peter and Helen Bing Director of Women's Tennis Lele Forood.
Hui and Yu are each slotted in the ITA's Top-10 Newcomer rankings, with Hui at No. 2 and Yu at No. 4. Stanford is the only school in the country with two of the top five newcomers. Additionally, Yu and Hui were ranked as the top-two players in the country in the class of 2023 by Tennis Recruiting.

- Ranked as high as No. 1 player in the nation by Tennis Recruiting, ended senior year at No. 2
- Finalist in singles at USTA Girls 18 National Championships (2023)
- Competed in the 2023 US Open Women's singles qualifying
- Semifinalist in singles and 3rd place in doubles at USTA Girls 18 National Championships (2022)
- Qualified and played singles at the 2022 US Open Junior Championships
- Quarterfinalist in doubles at the 2022 US Open Junior Championships
- Semifinalist in single at the USTA Girls 18 Winter Nationals at age of 14 (2019)
- Multiple silver and bronze balls in USTA Nationals in different age groups
- Represented USA in the 2019 Les Petits As tournament in France, reaching the finals of doubles and quarters of singles

- Winner of the 2022 Girls 18s Billie Jean King National Championships. Semifinalist in 2023.
- Won national titles at U14 (twice, hard court and Easter Bowl) and U12 levels
- Competed in the 2022 US Open main draw at 17 years old
- The #1 ranked recruit every single year beginning in sixth grade, according to Tennis Recruiting
- WTA career-high singles ranking of 646, doubles mark of 935
- US Open Junior doubles quarterfinalist in 2022, competed in singles in 2021 and 2022
- Won multiple back to back ITFs J4 at 14 years old
- Quarter finalist of the Winter Nationals 16u at 13 years old
- Competed in multiple WTA Tour events including Cleveland 250, Midland 125, Columbus 125
- At 14 years old, made W15k Quarterfinals
- Brother, Kevin, played college tennis at Cal Tech
