- Stanford women’s golf competes at home for the first time this season with the annual Stanford Intercollegiate.
- The three-day tournament takes place on Oct. 20-22 and is hosted at the Stanford Golf Course.
- The Cardinal rolled through the field last season, winning the event for the fifth time and the second time in a row. Rose Zhang was the individual winner of the tournament as she helped Stanford finish 15-under, cruising its way to a 10-stroke victory.
- Stanford most recently finished third at the 2023 Stephens Cup, beating South Carolina in match play on the final day to secure the third -place finish. Paula Martin Sampedro was the team’s best performer, finishing in a tie for fourth place in her best collegiate finish.
- Stanford’s five wins at the Intercollegiate are tied with UCLA for the most in the history of the event.

- The 2023 Stanford Intercollegiate marks the second year of golfing by the mantra “PlayforHer” as part of an initiative to help raise funds in support of breast cancer research.
- This year’s tournament is being dedicated to the head coach of California, Nancy McDaniel.
