- The fall season arrives at Taube Tennis Stadium for the first time in 2023 as Stanford hosts the ITA Super Regionals from Oct. 20-23.
- Six Stanford players will be in action in singles: No. 2 seed Samir Banerjee, No. 4 seed Kyle Kang, Aryan Chaudhary, Filip Kolasinski, Neel Rajesh and Hudson Rivera. Stanford also has three doubles teams: No. 4 seed Aryan Chaudhary/Filip Kolasinski, Neel Rajesh/Anders Matta and Kyle Kang/Hudson Rivera. The champions and finalists of the tournament will qualify for the ITA National Fall Championships, held Nov. 1-5 in San Diego.
- The Cardinal has three singles players ranked in the preseason. Nishesh Basavareddy opens the campaign at No. 6 and is joined in the top-30 by Max Basing (No. 20) and Samir Banerjee (No. 29). Additionally the doubles team of Banerjee and Basavareddy is slotted at No. 36 while Kyle Kang is the No. 1 ranked newcomer in the country. Arthur Fery, a two-time All-American and former No. 1 ranked player in the ITA, will take the fall off to compete in professional events.
- Fery and Basavareddy have seen tremendous success on the ATP Challenger Tour, with both players reaching their first tournament championship match in October. Fery jumped into the top 300 in the world rankings at No. 280, while Basavareddy rose 616 spots to No. 498.
- Samir Banerjee, Filip Kolasinski and Neel Rajesh have scored wins in ITA events this fall, with Banerjee and Rajesh knocking off ranked opponents.
- Stanford men's tennis wrapped up another strong season under head coach Paul Goldstein a year ago, winning 16 dual matches and advancing to the NCAA Super Regionals for the third year in a row. Arthur Fery and Nishesh Basavareddy gave the Cardinal multiple All-Americans for the first time since 2015.
- Stanford was heavily represented in the Pac-12's end-of-season awards, as Arthur Fery was named the Pac-12 Singles Player of the Year and Samir Banerjee was chosen as the Pac-12 Freshman/Newcomer of the Year. Fery and Banerjee were joined by Max Basing on the first team, while Nishesh Basavareddy was added to the second team.
- Paul Goldstein is in his 10th season as the Taube Family Director of Men's Tennis. Goldstein’s teams have posted a 147-66 record with a national ranking and a berth in the NCAA Championships in each of his seasons at the helm.
