STANFORD, Calif. – Hosting Oregon on Sunday in Pac-12 play, No. 5 Stanford (14-0-2, 7-0-1 Pac-12) blanked Oregon (0-14-2, 0-8-0 Pac-12) 2-0 behind goals from Jasmine Aikey and Kennedy Wesley.

Sunday's contest was Stanford's annual Breast Cancer Awareness Pink Match, presented by Stanford Medicine. Fans can bid on game-worn jerseys through 11:59 p.m. PT on Sunday by visiting gostanford.com/auctions

Aikey got the scoring started in the ninth minute, taking advantage of a poor pass in the back line and dribbling one-on-one with Oregon goalkeeper Maddy Goldberg. Aikey slotted her shot past Goldberg to the far post for her team-leading seventh goal of the year and the game-winner.

Aikey fired off eight shots in the victory, including putting six on frame. The six shots on goal are the most for a Cardinal player since Aikey herself had seven at Oregon State on October 23, 2022.

The Cardinal finished the match with a 27-7 advantage in shots, including a 12-2 mark in the first 45 minutes. Goldberg was credited with 15 saves in the setback for Oregon, posting seven in the first half and eight in the second.

The 16th of 17 corner kicks for the Cardinal netted the second goal of the afternoon in the 77th minute when Aikey bent a ball to the back post where Wesley ran it into the goal. The tally was Wesley's third of the season.

Junior Haley Craig made her third career start in goal for Stanford, going the distance in a shutout victory while making two saves – both coming in the second half. The solo shutout is the first of Craig's career after previously combining on five.

Stanford will hit the road next week, traveling to Los Angeles for crucial Pac-12 matches at USC and UCLA.
