SAN FRANCISCO - Five players were named to All-Pac-12 teams the conference announced on Tuesday. Fletcher Bank and Zach Bohane were named to the first team while Mark Fisher, Noah Adnan, and Shane de Flores were named second team honorees.
Bohane has been one of the greatest distributors in college soccer this season, ranking seventh nationally in assists per game (0.62). His 10 assists this season led the Pac-12 and he finished second in the conference in total points (24), and third in goals (7). He's also been named Pac-12 Player of the Week twice, United Soccer Coaches College Player of the Week, and the Top Drawer Soccer Player of the Week during the season.
Bank joined Bohane as a dominant passer in the NCAA, finishing third in the Pac-12 in assists (7) and 36th nationally in assists per game (0.47). Bank's pace up and down the flank consistently provided offensive chances and defensive stability for the Cardinal, which helped lead Stanford to the 12th best goal differential in the nation (+21).
Fisher proved to be the engine in the midfield for Stanford this regular season as the captain started each game he played in and set a career-high in points (7). He helped lead Stanford to a top-five national ranking in assists per game (2.76) and the eighth-best mark in points per game (7.12). He was named the final Pac-12 Player of the Week after scoring a game-winning bicycle kick against California last week.
Adnan has been the unquestioned leader of Stanford's defense, starting each game this season while netting a career-high in goals (4), assists (2), and points (10). He's helped lead Stanford to six shutouts this season, second-most in the Pac-12.
De Flores has been an offensive force all season long for Stanford with the third-most assists per game on the team (0.41) which was also the fifth-best mark in the Pac-12. His 19 points are also the fourth-most in the conference, and he earned one Pac-12 Player of the Week award after netting a brace at Oregon State.
The Cardinal returns to action this weekend in the postseason, facing the winner of Omaha and Missouri State on Sunday at 5 p.m. at Cagan Stadium.
