United Soccer Coaches All-Region Teams Opens in a new window

STANFORD, Calif. - Four players were honored by United Soccer Coaches on Wednesday, being named to the All-Far West Region teams. Mark Fisher and Zach Bohane were both named to the first team while Noah Adnan and Shane de Flores were placed on the third team.

The four selections are Stanford's most since 2019.

Fisher, the 2023 team captain, led Stanford to its best postseason finish since 2019, culminating in the quarterfinal round against Clemson. The senior was named an All-Pac-12 second team selection and earned the final Pac-12 Player of the Week (Nov. 12) award of the season after scoring a bicycle kick winner against California.

Bohane, the team's leader in goals (8), assists (11), and points (27), was among the nation's best in distribution of the ball ranking sixth overall. His 27 points this season are the most since Foster Langsdorf's 34 in 2017 and his 11 assists are the most for any Stanford player since 2015 (Corey Baird & Eric Verso - 13).

Bohane was also named All-Pac-12 first team, twice named Pac-12 Player of the Week (Aug. 28 & Oct. 30), and United Soccer Coaches National Player of the Week (Aug. 28).

Adnan recorded career-highs in goals and assists this season while leading Stanford defensively. His four goals, three assists, and 11 points were the sixth-most on the team. He was also named All-Pac-12 second team.

De Flores trailed only Bohane in points for the Cardinal this year, tallying seven goals and eight assists for 22 points. The redshirt sophomore was named All-Pac-12 second team and Pac-12 Player of the Week (Oct. 23). He finished the season fourth in the conference in goals, tied for second in assists, third in points, and third in shots.
