STANFORD, Calif. – Alana Vawter was selected to the Preseason All-Pac-12 Team, the conference announced today. The Pac-12 coaches also picked the Cardinal to finish second in the league standings.

Stanford made it to the Super Regionals last season and earned a 39-22 record, finishing the season ranked 18th according to the NFCA.

This is Vawter's first time receiving a Pac-12 Preseason recognition after recording a 1.97 ERA and 11 shutouts last season.

The Cardinal will open the season at the Mark Campbell Classic in Irvine, Calif. to face defending NCAA Champions Oklahoma, Loyola Marymount, San Jose State, Duke and Liberty from February 9-12.
