Action Concludes at Amer Ari

KOHALA COAST, Hawaii - Stanford golfers Jake Beber-Frankel and Sean-Karl Dobson each post a team-leading 4-under 68 at Mauna Lani Golf Resort as competition wraps at the Amer Ari Intercollegiate. The Cardinal finished the event in 11th place in the team standings.

After climbing into the top-20 during Friday's action, Beber-Frankel followed it up with another solid showing by turning in seven birdies on the round with one bogey and one double bogey to finish tied for 19th place. The 13-under 203 gave Beber-Frankel's lowest tournament score of his career by seven strokes, besting his previous best at the Jackson T. Stephens Cup in the fall.

Dobson registered a significant bounce-back performance in Saturday's final round, keeping the scorecard clean with four birdies and zero bogeys on the day to finish the tournament tied-71st.

After a third-consecutive sub-70 round, senior Karl Vilips shot a 3-under 69 with six birdies, a bogey, and a double bogey to cap off Stanford's most consistent performance of the weekend.

Thorbjornsen matched his round one performance with another 2-under 70 to finish tied-71st in his first tournament back to collegiate competition. Barclay Brown and Dean Greyserman finished the day at 1-over and 5-over, respectively.

Stanford returns to competition on Feb. 19-21 for The Prestige in La Quinta, California.
