LA JOLLA, Calif. – Stanford men's tennis wrapped up its final regular season tournament, competing March 1-3 at the Pacific Coast Doubles Tournament.
The top-seeded pair in the event, Samir Banerjee and Neel Rajesh reached the quarterfinals with three straight-set wins before falling in three sets to a ninth-seeded duo from Pepperdine. After an opening round loss, the 17th-seeded duo of Filip Kolasinski and Hudson Rivera rattled off three-straight wins to reach the consolation final, though that match was never held.
The pair of Max Basing and Nico Godsick won two matches, reaching the round of 16, while the tandems of Kyle Kang and Anders Matta and Aryan Chaudhary and Harsh Hemang Parikh each went 1-1.
Only the matches against other teams will count towards each pair's collegiate records.
Stanford returns to action on Friday, March 8 against UNLV and Sunday, March 10 against USC. The match with USC will include a charity drive for Second Serve.
