SAN DIEGO - Maggie Hawkins recorded her second straight hat trick, powering No. 3 Stanford to a 16-7 victory over No. 19 Harvard on Sunday morning at the Aztec Invitational.

Stanford (13-3, 1-0 MPSF), which has won four in a row and 12 of its last 13 overall, closed out its tournament appearance with a pair of blowout wins following Saturday's 20-4 rout of host No. 24 San Diego State.

Hawkins was one of nine different players to score for the Cardinal, which also limited the Crimson to 31.8 percent shooting.

Eleanor Facey, Quinn Healy, Christina Hicks, Sophia Sanders and Sophie Wallace each contributed a multi-goal game.

After a tight first eight minutes, Stanford scored six goals in both the second and third quarters to put the game out of reach.

Hicks scored her goals in the second period while Talie Wilmans converted with 16 seconds left, giving Stanford an 8-2 halftime lead.

Leading 14-4 after three periods, Healy found the cage twice in the final stanza.

Maya Avital and Christine Carpenter shared time in goal.

Stanford is idle until Sunday, March 24, hosting Arizona State at 2 p.m. at Avery Aquatic Center in its first MPSF home match.
