Stanford Tops No. 7 Virginia

PHILADELPHIA - The Cardinal defeated No. 7 Virginia 6-3 in the second consolation bracket quarterfinals at the CSA National Championships. Stanford will take on No. 4 Penn tomorrow in the fifth-place game.

Senior All-American Si Yi Ma and sophomore Miriam Cheng both won to move to 3-0 at the national championships.

The Card will see Penn for the second time this season, after falling 7-2 in the first competition of the season.
