The No. 7 Cardinal are on the road this week, heading across the bay to take on Saint Mary's tomorrow, then heading north for three games with No. 8 Washington. Stanford will stay in Seattle to take on Seattle U on Monday. 

Power Surge
Through 62 games last season, the Cardinal combined to hit just 26 home runs. Through the first 46 games of 2024, the Card has already hit 42.
• The 42 home runs are the most in a single season since 2013, and the seventh-most all-time.
• In 2023, the team combined for a .394 slugging percentage while batting .280.
• This season, the slugging percentage is up to .467 while the batting average has risen to .291.
• Last season, seven different players hit at least one home run. This year, that number is up to 12.
Aly Kaneshiro led the team with seven home runs last year, and is back atop the category with nine this year.
• The Cardinal has four other players that have hit at least 4.

Beating the Best
The Card has played 17 games against teams ranked in the NFCA's top 25
• Stanford is 9-8 against ranked teams, and 29-2 against unranked foes.
• The Cardinal has beat a top-5 team three times on the season: No. 2 Tennessee on Feb. 16, No. 2 Texas on Feb. 24 and No. 5 Georgia March 3.

Leading the Pac
The Cardinal is 13-5 to start Pac-12 play, second in the conference behind the best start in program history.
• Stanford swept back-to-back conference series for the first time since 2013 to open the conference slate.
• The Card has won each of its first five series in Pac-12 play.
• This is just the 15th time Stanford has won 10+ conference games in a season, and seventh time with 13 or more.
• Stanford has a chance to secure back-to-back 14 win seasons for the first time in program history, and is closing in on the most conference wins in program history.
• The most Pac-12 wins in Stanford softball history was 17 in 1998. The next best was 14 last season.
• The Cardinal was picked to win the Pac-12 for the first time in program history.

A complete staff
The Cardinal's entire pitching staff has been strong to open the 2024 season, boasting a combined 1.73 ERA through 46 games.
• Senior Regan Krause has picked up 16 wins in 26 appearances (20 starts), across 104.0 innings pitched.
• Freshman Alyssa Houston has allowed just 13 earned runs in 40.1 innings of work, for a 1.91 ERA.
• The Cardinal has posted 17 shutouts in 41 games this season
