Cardinal Announces 2024 Campaign

STANFORD, Calif. – With a monumental season on the horizon, Stanford Field Hockey unveiled the 2024 schedule on Wednesday afternoon. The upcoming slate features 16 games, with the Cardinal hosting six at Varsity Field Hockey Turf.
The schedule kicks off on the road, as Stanford will face off against Ohio on August 30 and Ball State on September 1 before welcoming Kent State (September 5) and Northeastern (September 8) to The Farm for the first home stand of the year.
The Cardinal heads back on the road on September 13 for a showdown against in-state foe UC Davis. Then, Stanford heads east for a three-game road trip, squaring off against Bellarmine on September 18 before the program's first ever ACC contests against Louisville (September 20) and Virginia (September 22).
Returning home, Stanford welcomes the defending national champions North Carolina for a primetime matchup on October 4 ahead of a Sunday matinee with Duke on October 6.
Stanford later embarks on a four-game road trip, starting with trips to Syracuse (October 11) and Boston College (October 13) before gearing up for the Big Ten doubleheader against Northwestern and Indiana on October 18 and 20, respectively.
The regular season comes to a close with two games on the home turf, as the team plays host to Wake Forest on October 25 and California on October 31.
A young but experienced core, Stanford returns 88 percent of its offensive production from a season ago while bringing in two impact transfers ahead of its inaugural season in the ACC.
