SPARKS, M.d. - Aliya Polisky has been named to the U.S. Women's Lacrosse U20 National Team USA Lacrosse announced this morning. The freshman attacker for Stanford has been selected for the national squad after competing in the U20 training camp earlier last month.
Head coach Kelly Amonte Hiller has announced the final roster of 22 players that will represent the United States in the 2024 World Lacrosse Women’s U20 Championship in Hong Kong, China from August 15-24. The selections were made following a training camp at USA Lacrosse headquarters from June 19-21.
The team’s next training camp will be held at Northwestern University from July 18-20. The team will then have one final brief camp in Northern California in August before heading to Asia for the world championship.
Polisky was a dominant force for the cardinal this season helping lead Stanford to the Pac-12 tournament and regular season titles.
She was also named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year and was named a First Team All-Pac-12 selection. The star freshman also garnered national recognition, being named a USA Lacrosse All-American and an ILWomen Media All-American.
