Twenty-One Scholar-Athletes

Stanford's men's swimming and diving leads the nation in CSCAA scholar-athletes.

STANFORD, Calif. -- Twenty-one men’s swimmers and divers from Stanford were named to the Spring Individual Scholar All-America teams by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America.

Seven Cardinal were named to the CSCAA Scholar-Athlete second team: Ethan Dang, Matt Fenlon, Preston Forst, Ethan Harrington, Gabe Machado, Andrew Matejka, Henry Morrissey. Second-team selections must have earned a 3.5 GPA or higher and met a "B" time standard for the national championship or qualified for a diving zone qualification meet.

Each of Stanford’s 2024 Olympians – Ron Polonsky and Jonathan Tan – were among those recognized. And, of Stanford’s 10 All-Americans this year, nine are CSCAA Scholar-Athletes.
