Stanford to Face Oregon in San Jose Tip-Off

The matchup is the first against Oregon in non-conference action since 1967

SAN JOSE – The second non-conference matchup of 2024-25 has been announced for Stanford men’s basketball, with the Cardinal set to face Oregon in the San Jose Tip-Off on Dec. 21 at SAP Center. The game time and television designation will be revealed at a later date.

The game is part of a doubleheader at the home of the San Jose Sharks, as Cal will take on San Diego State, and the first non-conference meeting with Oregon since the 1967 Portland Far West Classic. Stanford and Oregon were together in the Pac-8 beginning in 1964-65.

Tickets for the event, which will be good for both games of the doubleheader, will go on sale in in the coming weeks, but fans can register for presale access here. Intersport, a Chicago-based sports marketing and events agency, will manage the event.

Stanford will begin its first season under Kyle Smith, the Anne and Tony Joseph Director of Men's Basketball, in 2024-25. The Cardinal boasts an exciting mix of returning talent, led by rising senior Maxime Raynaud, and incoming freshmen and transfers.
