With the 2024 season opener right around the corner, this guide features all you need to know about new features and experiences at Stanford Stadium this season.

STANFORD, Calif. The 2024 season is right around the corner, with the season opener inside Stanford Stadium set for Friday, Aug. 30 vs. TCU. Cardinal fans can expect several changes to improve their game day experience.

FIELD BOXES

Fans seeking an all-inclusive gameday experience can reserve seats in the newly remodeled Field Boxes. Located in each end zone, the Field Boxes feature brand new, premium seats for up to 20 people. Guests will enjoy a range of premium amenities, including VIP parking, expedited stadium entry, pregame field access through the players’ tunnel, and all-inclusive food & non-alcoholic beverages from a menu of stadium favorites. DIRECTOR'S LEVEL SEATING

Director's level seat holders can enjoy newly installed luxury, cushioned chair-back seats with tremendous views of the field as well as complimentary food and beverages, including beer and wine, a reserved parking space in the Track Lot, and exclusive expedited entry to Stanford Stadium at Gate 4.

BUCK/CARDINAL CLUB HOSPITALITY AREA

Football Priority Seat Members and Buck/Cardinal Club donors at the $1,000 giving level or above have access to complimentary beverages, including beer and wine, and snacks at the Buck/Cardinal Club hospitality space inside Stanford Stadium. Located at the north end of the stadium on the outer concourse between gates 5 and 10, the hospitality space is open when gates open until kickoff, and reopens for 20 minutes during halftime.

FREE STUDENT TICKETS

Stanford students are a vital part of the atmosphere inside Stanford Stadium and receive free admission by scanning their SUID at any public gate. Previously utilized as a dedicated student entrance, Gate 3 will be available to all fans.

BIG GAME STUDENT TICKET FULFILLMENT

Stanford Athletics has a limited number of discounted student tickets for the 127th Big Game in Berkeley. In an effort to encourage and reward frequent attendance, Stanford Athletics will prioritize its fulfillment of Big Game student ticket requests by 2024 football home game attendance record, followed by request date. 

New students who do not yet have their SUID can visit the Athletics Ticket Office, located at Gate 2 of the stadium, on game day and present a valid photo ID to receive a free student ticket. 

LOT #4 PARKING UPDATE

Beginning with the upcoming 2024 football season, IM South Lot #4 will be decoupled from General Lots #8, #9, and #13, and will require a dedicated IM South parking pass for entry. Fans who intend to park in this lot are strongly encouraged to purchase a parking pass in advance as drive-up sales are not guaranteed. Parking passes can be purchased HERE.

STM CONCESSIONS DISCOUNTS

Football Season Ticket Members can save at the concession stands by entering their 2024 discount code on the “Checkout & Payment” screen at the ordering kiosk. Buck/Cardinal Club Priority Seat Members receive 40% off and all other STMs get 20% off when the discount code is applied. Personalized discount codes will be communicated to STMs in membership benefit update emails and can also be found on the 2024 STM Discount Code tile in the “Tickets” section of their online account. SEASON PASSES EXPLAINED

For the second consecutive season, Season Ticket Members (STMs) no longer have to download each individual ticket or parking pass for every game of the season. With the season ticket pass, STMs will only download one mobile wallet pass per season ticket or parking pass to use for entry into each game throughout the season. When a season ticket pass is added to a mobile wallet, it will display the event details for the first game of the season. The season pass will automatically update to the next available game when used, transferred, or sold on StubHub. No additional action is needed! FAN FEST

While Fan Fest usually occurs outside Stanford Stadium, a special edition of Fan Fest inside​ Stanford Stadium kicks off our 2024 campaign vs. TCU! Doors to Stanford Stadium will open at 5:30 PM PT, allowing fans to enjoy happy hour pricing on beer, tasty treats from various food vendors, carnival and yard games, face painting, and so much more at Fan Fest. Fan Fest will be located on the North Esplanade of Stanford Stadium, under the iconic arches. A reminder that Fan Fest will return to its normal location outside the stadium for the remainder of the season.

CONCESSIONS

New stadium concessions offerings include Zaida’s Kitchen, serving tacos, burrito bowls, and other authentic Mexican cuisine at Section 113. Additionally, fans can try new assorted flavored popcorns at the Section 108 concessions stand. CLICK HERE for a full menu and detailed map of concession stands.

OPEN GATE SECURITY SCREENING DEVICES

Express entry lanes will be available at Gates 4, 5, 10, and 12 for fans arriving without bags. Fans utilizing these lanes will walk through Opengate devices without needing to empty their pockets, allowing for an expedited security screening process prior to scanning tickets.

RE-ENTRY 

Patrons will be able to re-enter at any gate this year until the end of the 3rd Quarter. Tickets must be scanned out upon exit. Re-entry will continue to require security screening and a valid ticket scan.

SPECIALTY TOWING 

Car issues after the game? Specialty towing will be onsite to help assist with any issues that you may experience. Please call 415-310-6350.

ADA SHUTTLE SERVICE 

Stanford Athletics offers an ADA shuttle service on game days in partnership with Dis-GO. Beginning 2 hours prior to kickoff, fans requiring assistance getting to Stanford Stadium will have the option to be picked up on motorized carts at select locations near Stanford Stadium by Dis-GO staff, with a primary stadium drop-off location at Gate 4. After the game, carts will be lined up outside Gate 4 and transport guests to select drop-off locations until 45 minutes postgame. CLICK HERE for a map of pick-up and drop-off locations, and look for the blue tents on game days.
