ACC Unveils Stanford’s Inaugural Conference Slate

Stanford’s 20-game ACC schedule begins Dec. 7

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Stanford’s dive into Atlantic Coast Conference action will begin in December, as the ACC unveiled the men’s basketball conference schedule on Sept. 24.

Men's basketball season ticket memberships, starting at $175, are now available for the 2024-25 season. Fans can explore availability by clicking here or by contacting the Stanford Athletics ticket office at 800-STANFORD or athleticstickets@stanford.edu. Single game tickets, partial plans and group tickets will go on sale Tuesday, October 1 at 10 a.m. For additional details, fans can submit a ticket interest form and an account executive will follow up within 24 hours.

The ACC begins a new scheduling model this season which features 20 games, with Stanford facing its two current partners, Cal and SMU, twice with one repeat opponent. The Cardinal’s repeat opponent in 2024-25 is Wake Forest.

Stanford begins ACC play against archrival California on Dec. 7, marking the first pre-Christmas matchup between the programs in recorded history. Continuing on the road, Stanford’s first East Coast trip sees the Cardinal match up at Clemson (Jan. 1) and Pittsburgh (Jan. 4) before its first home ACC homestand against Virginia Tech (Jan. 8) and Virginia (Jan. 11).

The Cardinal’s second trip across the country will include games at Wake Forest (Jan. 15) and North Carolina (Jan. 18), with Stanford then returning home for five of its next six games. Maples Pavilion will welcome Miami (Jan. 22), Florida State (Jan. 25) and Syracuse (Jan. 29) before a one-game road trip to SMU to open February (Feb. 1). The extended home stretch concludes with Wake Forest (Feb. 5) and NC State (Feb. 8).

Following a trip to Georgia Tech (Feb. 12) and Duke (Feb. 15), the Cardinal closes its home schedule with three consecutive bouts at Maples Pavilion. California’s return trip to Maples is set for Feb. 22 before Stanford takes on Boston College (Feb. 26) and SMU (March 1). The final pre-ACC Tournament trip will see Stanford fly to Notre Dame (March 5) and Louisville (March 8).

Stanford will begin its first season under Kyle Smith, the Anne and Tony Joseph Director of Men's Basketball, in 2024-25. The Cardinal boasts an exciting mix of returning talent, led by rising senior Maxime Raynaud, and incoming freshmen and transfers.
