IRVINE, Calif. – The No. 3 Stanford Cardinal picked up another top-10 win today with a 15-10 victory over the No. 8 UC Irvine Anteaters. The Card ripped off a 6-1 lead in the first quarter, and never looked back.
Riley Pittman entered the day leading the team with 21 goals scored, and extended the advantage with a game-high four scores.
Pittman was one of five multi-goal scorers for the Cardinal, joined by Soren Jensen, Grant Watson, Dash McFarland and Will Schneider.
Stanford now boasts six top-10 wins on the season, including a 2-0 record against the Anteaters.
The Cardinal continues the road weekend tomorrow at No. 4 Pepperdine. The game can be viewed on ESPN+, and starts at 12:00 p.m. PT.
