STANFORD, Calif. – Senior Kami Miner has been voted the ACC Setter of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
Miner guided the Cardinal offense to a combined .340 hitting percentage in wins over No. 6 Wisconsin and No. 24 Marquette last week. The senior averaged 11.14 assists per set to go with 3.29 digs per set and 0.71 kills per set.
Miner tied her season-high with 47 assists as the Card hit .316 against the Badgers. She also had 12 digs, three kills and an ace as the Cardinal improved to 7-0 all-time against Wisconsin. She turned in 31 assists, 11 digs and two kills in a sweep over the Golden Eagles. She's registered a double-double in all three matches she has appeared in this season.
Additionally, Miner registered her 4,000th career assist against Wisconsin. She became the seventh player in program history to reach the milestone, and just the third in the rally-scoring era to 25.
No. 2 Stanford faces UC Santa Barbara on Tuesday and Pepperdine on Wednesday before returning to The Farm to host No. 6 Texas on Sunday for its home opener on ESPN. First serve is slated for Noon PT from Maples Pavilion.
