STANFORD, Calif. - Riley Pittman has picked up MPSF Player of the Week honors for week one, the conference announced today. Pittman led the Cardinal with 11 goals scored across four games at last weekend's Triton Invitational.
Pittman scored multiple goals in three of four games played at the UC San Diego-hosted tournament.
The 2023 All-America selection scored five times in the 15-10 win over No. 8 UC Davis, and added three more in another top-10 win over No. 6 UC Irvine. The fifth-year senior dished out three assists in the win over UC Irvine as well.
Pittman and the Cardinal host UCSB this week, opening up the home schedule at 4:00 p.m. PT on Thursday.
