STANFORD, Calif. - Senior Kami Miner has been voted the ACC Setter of the Week for the third time this season, while outside hitter Ipar Kurt has been selected the ACC Freshman of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
Miner guided the Cardinal offense to a combined .346 attack percentage in a pair of sweeps over Syracuse and Boston College. The senior averaged 11.50 assists per set and 1.50 digs per set as Stanford recorded its third consecutive sweep and improved to 5-1 in ACC play.
Kurt led Stanford offensively, averaging a team-best 3.83 kills on .381 hitting, 0.50 aces and 4.42 points per set. Versus Boston College, she hit a career-high .688 with a match-best 12 kills on 16 swings with just one miscue. She also tallied a career-high three aces against the Eagles.
Stanford hits the road this week, traveling to No. 12 SMU on Wednesday at 4 p.m. PT on ACC Network and No. 1 Pittsburgh on Sunday at Noon on ESPN.
