ALPHARETTA, Ga. - Junior Nathan Wang carded a final-round 67 on Sunday afternoon as The Golf Club of Goergia Collegiate came to a close.
Stanford finished the tournament 15-over as a team, good for 13th in the team standings. Duke came away as tournament champions at 28-under par.
It was an excellent round for Wang, sinking five birdie putts with just one bogey on the scorecard, climbing 22 spots on the final day to finish with a share of 11th on the individual leaderboard.
TK Chantananuwat enjoyed his best round of the tournament, finishing with a 1-over 73 with four birdies and five bogeys on the day.
Ethan Gao and Jay Leng each carded 2-over 74 rounds, finishing tied for 39th and 49th, respectively, on the weekend.
Sean-Karl Dobson was Stanford's non-scorer with a final-round 81, while Kush Arora finished his indy weekend with a tournament-best 73 on Sunday.
The Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate concludes Stanford's fall slate, as they will enjoy the winter break before returning to action in early February for the Amer Ari Intercollegiate.
