STANFORD, Calif. - Soren Jensen has been named MPSF Player of the Week, after accounting for nine goals in a pair of wins over the weekend.
Jensen opened the weekend with four goals in the win over No. 17 Santa Clara on Saturday. The next day, the fifth-year senior scored twice and added in three assists in the win over No. 12 UC San Diego.
Jensen's six goals pushed him ahead of Riley Pittman for the team lead in goals scored, boasting 43 on the season.
The honors are the second of the season for Jensen, joining Pittman to account for four MPSF weekly awards on the season.
