NCAA Tournament Coming to Cagan

Stanford will host winner of UCLA/UC Santa Barbara in NCAA Tournament Second Round on Sunday, Nov. 24

STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford men's soccer has been selected as the No. 16 seed in the NCAA DI Men's Soccer Championship and will host a second-round tournament on Sunday, November 24 at 5 p.m. PST at Cagan Stadium. As a top-16 seed, Stanford receives a first-round bye.

The Cardinal awaits its opponent following the result of UCLA's and UC Santa Barbara's opening-round contest on Thursday, November 21, at 7 p.m. PST.

Stanford joins top-seeded Ohio State, No. 8 Clemson, and No. 9 Wake Forest as national seeds set to host the second round in the top-left quad of the bracket.

The tournament berth marks Stanford's 11th NCAA Championship appearance in the last 12 seasons, reaching the third round of the bracket in each of the last two seasons. The Cardinal now have 22 NCAA Championship appearances in program history.

Stanford also holds claim to one of the most dominant NCAA tournament runs in recent history, winning three consecutive consecutive national championships from 2015-2017. The program is most recently reached the College Cup in 2019, its seventh appearance all-time.

Tickets for Sunday's contest at Cagan Stadium will be available to the public on Tuesday, November 19 at 10 a.m. PST and can be purchased here.
