CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Senior Maxime Raynaud has been named the Player of the Week by the Atlantic Coast Conference, marking the program’s first award in the new league.
Raynaud, who ranks second in the ACC in scoring (21.3) and first in rebounding (12.8) this season, has led Stanford to a 4-0 start for the first time since 2019. In wins over Northern Arizona (Nov. 12) and UC Davis (Nov. 17) this week, Raynaud averaged 27.5 points and 12.5 rebounds per game while shooting 56 percent from the floor and 55 percent from beyond the arc.
Raynaud leads the country in double-doubles with four to begin the year and he is third nationally in rebounds per game. His most recent against UC Davis came with a career high 33 points to go with a season-high matching 14 rebounds.
