Ayomanor Lands All-ACC Honors

Second career All-Conference honor for the redshirt sophomore wide receiver

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Stanford football landed its first postseason All-ACC honor on Tuesday afternoon with the announcement of the All-ACC teams from the conference office. Redshirt sophomore wide receiver Elic Ayomanor was named Second Team All-ACC, as voted on by coaches and the media.

On the heels of his breakout 2023 season, Ayomanor continued to impress in his second season on The Farm with a career-high 63 receptions and finished sixth in the conference with 831 receiving yards. For the second time in as many season, he scored six touchdowns, including a three-game stretch to begin ACC play where he became the first Cardinal to record receiving touchdowns in three-straight games since Brycen Tremayne in 2021.

Ayomanor eclipsed the 100-yard receiving mark three times, including the first and last games of the 2024 season. Arguably his best performance, however, came against Syracuse in Stanford’s first ACC game. He made an incredible one-handed touchdown reception early in the game and then helped Stanford set up the game-winning field goal with a fourth-down reception on a great throw from Ashton Daniels. The Cardinal would go on to win in its first ACC game.

With his second All-Conference honor in as many seasons (he was honorable mention All-Pac-12 in 2023), he becomes the first Cardinal wide receiver to earn a second All-Conference award since J.J. Arcega-Whiteside in 2017-18.
