STANFORD, Calif. - The Cardinal was well represented in the Association of College Water Polo Coaches 2023 All Academic Awards, with 18 players earning honors. Stanford's 3.57 team GPA was the eighth-highest of all teams, and the best in the MPSF.
11 members of the Card earned outstanding honors, awarded to players with GPAs from 3.71-4.0. No other program had more representatives in the outstanding group. Six more players earned superior honors, awarded to players with GPAs in the range of 3.41-3.70. One more player, freshman Jack Merrill, earned excellent honors for players with GPAs from 3.20-3.40.
