STANFORD, Calif. - Five Cardinal gymnasts were named College Gymnastics Association (CGA) regular season All-Americans for the 2025 season, as announced by the CGA on Tuesday morning.
The CGA has recognized regular season All-Americans since 2020, an accolade given to the eight highest-scoring gymnasts in each event and the all-around during the regular season based on their 4Score average.
Taylor Burkhart led the Cardinal with recognition in three events, floor exercise, vault, and all-around, one of just three gymnasts in the nation to earn three regular-season All-America honors. The top-ranked all-arounder in the nation, Burkhart has been one of the most decorated gymnasts in the nation in 2025, tallying three CGA Gymnast of the Week and three MPSF Gymnast of the Week awards this season. The senior gymnast was also named a finalist for the 2025 Nissen-Emery award, the highest honor in collegiate men's gymnastics.
Asher Hong and Mark Berlaga were both named regular-season All-Americans on still rings. Hong, the reigning NCAA champion in the event, is the top-ranked gymnast in the event with a 14.433 scoring average and has won five titles on still rings this season. Berlaga, who ranks seventh in the event, added two still rings titles of his own in the first two meets of the 2025 campaign.
The Cardinal also had a pair of All-Americans in parallel bars with Brandon Nguyen and Colt Walker. Nguyen has been a consistent performer on parallel bars, posting a 14-plus score in all but one collegiate competition on his way to six event titles on the apparatus this season. Walker was the 2025 Winter Cup champion on parallel bars and ranks fifth in the event nationally with a 14.100 scoring average.
No. 2 Stanford continues its season at the MPSF Championships on April 5 in Colorado Springs, Colo., where the Cardinal will compete for its fourth consecutive conference title. Competition will begin at 3 p.m. PT on subscription-based platform, Overnght.
